Day 14 | Master Class

My school has given a wonderful opportunity to host an event regarding character animation from Gobelins  L’Ecole de L’Image alumnus, Alexandre Hobeyan, who is an animator who contributed greatly to “Kung-fu Panda” and “Monsters vs Aliens”.

I went with my friend, Janelle, in order to learn more about character animation since I am having a hard time to animate my own character. Alexandre shares about his experiences as an animator on how deal his works over in France and in Pixar Studios. It was a very enlightening class. How I wish I could sit on up to Saturday, but I do already have classes.

For those who are interested, please go to the De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde School of Design and Arts Campus tomorrow up to Saturday from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Afterwards, he will be conducting workshops for character animation. The registration fee would be Php500.00 for DLS-CSB students and alumni, and Php1,000.00 for visitors. For the workshop registration fee, it would be Php1,000.00 exclusive for DLS-CSB faculty, alumni and students only.

Day 13 | Vocaloid

You are seeing the free sticker of Hatsune Miku given during Cosplay Mania 2011. Too bad, there aren’t Kagamine Rin/Len or Megurine Luka designs. But I’m glad that the Mikubook.com is now promoting Vocaloid into the Philippines. Yes, it’s been here for ages, but not as a popular. So, I’m really hoping that there would be a Hatsune Miku Thanksgiving Concert all over Southeast Asia.

Day 12 | Tangled

Free live concerts are just like awesome! At our college, you’re free to express your art in any form, even if it’s music. People for the Music Production (MP, as we call them) degree, does a live performance at specific places such as our campus’ cafeteria, auditorium or lobby for the sake of their project or something of a sort. You get it, don’t you?

Day 11 | Round-abouts

When I was still taking up 2D Animation 1 class, my professor used to have our characters to be drawn in front view, 3/4 front view, side view, 3/4 back view and back view. It needs to be in detail. Good thing my character’s design was simple!

Day 10 | Rinny

I’m wearing an orange blouse while flaunting off my big-dolly eyes. :-))

I was on my friend’s, Stefanie, place while waiting for the rain to die down since it’s raining really hard. Good thing, I was dismissed early on my 3DANIM2 class. I was with my blockmates, Ana and Pierre!

Day 9 | Seashells

I rarely collect seashells since I can always see them along our house, since we live near the beach. My friends love to collect them though. So, every time I drop by the beach to calmly think about my things, I collect these kinds for them.

Day 8 | Dessert Trio

I was with my friend, Timmie, when we’re off to buy our tickets to CosMania ‘11 on SM Mall of Asia. We enjoyed our sweet cravings at The Old Spaghetti House which their desserts never failed our expectations.

Day 7 | Racing Miku 2010 ver.

It’s been a while since I last reviewed my latest figure. I’ve been super happy ever since I received her a month ago. Alas, I’ve only got a free time today, so I could only do a review just today. Hope you won’t mind reading it here.
